Foraging Garden Bed<\/span><\/h3>\n

Foraging is defined as the act of hunting and collecting wild food. Our distant ancestors were dependent on resources they could find in their environment. The Foraging Garden was created to showcase plants which our ancestors may have used for food, medicine or tools.\u00a0\u00a0For example; Native Americans chewed the stunning guara and smeared the paste on their hands to catch horses. Coreopsis is another favorite and can be used to dye fabric, heal wounds, and reduce swelling.<\/span><\/p>\n
